The future of medicine is already here

When it comes to modeling an integrative system of healthcare, the future lies in our students. Tabatha Parker speaks on how the landscape of medicine is already being shaped by our students today.

The Interview

I graduated in 2004, so I’m a relatively new doctor. The terrain from then to now has changed so drastically. There are so many more opportunities for students now, and the conversation and the ability to become friends and colleagues while you’re still a student is just unbelievable.

All of the students from the medical schools and the naturopathic schools and the acupuncture schools and the chiro schools, they’re all meeting. They’re all learning together already. So when we look at the future of medicine, it is just going to be a different place in 10, 20 years because of that.
