Paul Epstein, ND

Dr. Paul Epstein is one of the world’s leading experts in mind-body integrative medicine, combining over thirty years experience as a naturopathic physician and renowned speaker and educator. As a child, Dr. Epstein witnessed his own father suffer from PTSD, a result of his experiences from World War II, and subsequently observed the failure of the medical profession’s ability to address this need. This experience has shaped Dr. Epstein’s primary philosophy as a physician - the connection between health and one’s self - and has guided him to an extensive study and practice in a variety of mind-body therapies. A graduate of the National College of Naturopathic Medicine, Dr. Epstein has trained with the Internal Family Systems Model of Psychotherapy, the Spirit Rock Meditation Center, and the Academy for Clinical Guided Imagery. Dr. Epstein has authored numerous articles on mind-body medicine and a book, Happiness Through Meditation. Dr. Epstein co-founded the Israel Center for Mind-Body Medicine in 1998, and runs his own practice in Connecticut. A highly sought after speaker and educator, Dr. Epstein offers numerous workshops, retreats and classes and acts as a mentor for a variety of groups, from beginning students to health professionals.
